He was born Feb. 20, 1948 in Bedford.
He was preceeded in death by his father, Kenneth G. Fields and a still-born daughter, Heather. He was also preceded in death by grandparents Murl and Thelma (Miller) Evans and Campbell and Myrtle (Hatfield)Fields.
He is survived by his mother, Frances A. (Tony Evans) Fields of Wheat Ridge, CO; a sister, Cindy King of Golden, CO, and two sons, Douglas E. Fields of Las Vegas, NV and Gregory A. Fields, Jr. of Reno, NV. He leaves behind missing him many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Greg was an avid outdoorsman. He loved hunting and fishing and enjoyed all of God's creation. He loved driving country roads and visiting family and friends. Greg never met a stranger. He had an awesome memory of childhood events and remembered minute details from events that happened years ago.
Service will be conducted on Wednesday, June 2 at Victoria Grace Funeral Home in Little Cincinnati, located in eastern Greene County near junction of State Road 54 and State Road 45. Pastor Kenny Walden will officiate.
Burial will follow at the Fayetteville Church of Christ Cemetary.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday and funeral service will be at 11 a.m.
