Helen Goskowicz, 82, of Bloomfield, passed away Monday, May 31, 2010 at the Glenburn Home in Linton.
She was born May 25, 1928 in Knowlton, Wisconsin to Blaze Javorek and Caroline (Sutrer) Javorek. She was the 6th child of 11 born to the Javorek's.
Helen worked as a secretary during her working years. After her marriage she lived in Milwaukee, Wis., Rochelle, Ill., Toleson Ariz., Downers Grove Ill., and Bloomfield.
Helen is survived by her daughter Christine J. Larson (Robert) of Woodland Park, CO; two grandchildren Peter J. Larson (Jennifer) of East Jordon, MI; and Jeannie J. Ruzicka (John) of Colorado Springs, CO. Three great grandchildren Aeryn Larson, Matthew Ruzicka and Michael Ruzicka, two sisters, Sylvia Gronski (Barney) and Jeanette Schoenfuss (Frank).
Services will be at the Holy Name Catholic Church in Bloomfield, on Tuesday June 8, at 10 a.m. with Father Michael Madden officiating.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. until the hour of service at the church.
Service will also be at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Mosinee, Wis. on Friday, June 11 at 10:30 a.m. with Father Grassl officiating.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. until the hour of service at the Church. Burial will follow at St. Francis Xavier Church Cemetery in Knowlton, Wis. Everyone is invited back to the church for food and fellowship following the burial.
