Stewart Lee Skinner,36, of Bloomfield, passed away at 6:30 p.m. Friday, June 4, 2010 at his residence.
Born September 27, 1973 in Greene County, he was the son of Richard Lee and Brenda (Bland) Skinner.
He was a self employed auto and diesel mechanic and Attended Allen Chapel Church. He was a graduate of Oakland City College.
Surviving relatives include: his children, Ashlyn Skinner-Hill of Bedford and Stetson Townsend of Newberry; parents, Richard and Sandra Skinner of Bloomfield; one brother, Christopher Lee Skinner of Bloomfield; one 1/2 brother, Rick Skinner of Bloomfield; two 1/2 sisters, Teresa Bartlet of Bloomfield and Mary Ruth Bland Skinner of Bloomfield; and his aunts, Marilyn Bowersock of Worthington, Dorothy Jerrells of Linton and Lilly Taylor of Mooresville.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, William and Wilma Skinner, maternal grandparents, Carl and Alice Bland, and his cousins, Jacob Bowersock and Carl Hickey.
Funeral service will be conducted 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 8, at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield, with Rev. Paul McHenry officiating. Interment will be in Walker Cemetery in rural Worthington.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and 1 hour prior to services Tuesday at the funeral home.
