He was born in Sullivan County July 21, 1933, the son of Clovis E. Booker and Sparkle Woodward Booker.
Kenneth was a member of the Shiloh Church of Christ, and a retired coal miner.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Sherry Booker, one brother, Murle Booker, one sister, Merriel Chambers, and one grandson, Quintin.
Survivors include three sons, Timothy Booker (Christy) of Jasonville, Michael Booker (Julie Richardson) of Lyons, Kenneth Booker (Dawn) of Red Bud, Ill., two daughters, Penny Smith (Terry) of Linton, Debra Craft of Austin, Tx., one brother, Ronnie Booker (Marilyn) of Dugger, a sister in-law Sue Ann Booker of Linton, ten grandchildren, David, and Shane McGee, Travis McKinney, Courtney Beel, J.D. Booker, Alicia McGhee. Alicia , Cortney , Brandi , and Dalton Booker, six step grandchildren, Jennifer Stewart, Ashley, and Austin Creech, Jacki, Tanner, and Tierra Richardson, 19 great grandchildren, and two step great grandchildren, two special friends, Delores (Boots) Archer Warth, and Barbara Murdock, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday June 12, at Newkirk's Funeral Home in Dugger with Bro. J.B. Smith officiating. Interment in the Woodward Cemetery.
