* June 9 -- Travis S. Chandler, 31, Bloomfield, was arrested on preliminary charges of attempting to disarm a law enforcement officer, battery on a law enforcement officer resulting in injury, resisting law enforcement, intimidation, operating a vehicle while being an habitual traffic violator, and criminal mischief. He is being held in lieu of $28,000. Greene County Sheriff's Deputy Bobby Pierce was the arresting officer.
LINTON POLICE DEPARTMENT
The Linton Police Department's activity log for Tuesday included one incident of refusal to leave, one fraud, one follow-up investigation, two requests for information, one vandalism, one criminal mischief, four animal complaints, one VIN check, one assist to another agency, two reckless drivers, one extra patrol, two thefts-other, one ordinance violation and 13 traffic stops.
* June 8 -- Police are investigating the theft of a 1996 dark green electric EZ-Go golf cart with a tan top and seats and a Florida Gators license plate. A lock was cut off and it was taken out of a storage shed located at NW 3rd and C Streets sometime last week. LPD Officer Karl Jacobshagen is the investigating officer.
