Veva M. Freeman, 88, of Bloomington passed away at 8:27 A.M. on Saturday, June 12, 2010 at the Rush Memorial Hospital in Rushville.
Born February 5, 1922 in Bloomfield the daughter of Dan and Algie (Emery) Horn.
Veva worked at RCA as an assembler and was a self employed seamstress. She was a member of the Union Chapel Church.
Surviving relatives include two sons; Ronald Wilson of Rushville; and William Wilson of Bloomington; three grandchildren; and three step-children, Bill Freeman,Deanie Gaylan and Georgette Bell.
She was preceded in death by her husband George D. Freeman, one brother Donald Horn, two step-sons; and her parents.
Friends may call from 1 P.M. until the hour of service on Wednesday June 16, at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
Service will be at 3:00 P.M. on Wednesday, June 16 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Pastor Don Dwyer officiating. Burial will follow at Switz City Cemetery.
