Janine B. Rogers, 63, of Surprise, Arizona, passed away at 3:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 29, 2010 in the Dell E. Webb In-Patient Unit, Hospice of Arizona, in Sun City West, Arizona.
She was born February 5, 1947 in Chicago, Ill., the daughter of Kenneth Fairweather and Barbara (LaHendro) Fairweather.
Janine worked for AT&T for 27 years in Chicago, Michigan, Indiana and Atlanta, Georgia.
Survivors include: Her husband, Lonnie M. "Lon" Rogers of Surprise; son and daughter-in-law, Ron Pelz, Jr. and Susan of Iowa; step-son, Michael Rogers of Waukegan, Ill.; father and mother-in-law, Everett and Pauline Rehmel of Jasonville; brother, Don Herr of Arizona; sister-in-law and husband, Billie and Jim Kennett of Jasonville; step-granddaughter, Mikayla Rogers; and many nieces, nephews and cousins in the Chicago and Arizona areas.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
The arrangements have been entrusted to Cox Funeral Home, 218 South Meridian Street in Jasonville.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 3, also at the funeral home with Bro. Roy Rich officiating. Interment will be in Lebanon Cemetery in Midland, Ind.
