* July 20 -- John R. Hendricks, 40, Bloomington, was arrested on a warrant and was being held in lieu of $29,000 bond. Greene County Sheriff's Deputy Bobby Pierce was the arresting officer.
* July 20 -- Billy R. Schubla, 57, Linton, was arrested on a warrant and was being held in lieu of $17,000 bond. Linton Police Cpl. Chad Crynes was the arresting officer.

The Linton Police Department's activity log for Tuesday included one incident of trespassing, one breaking and entering, one title check, one drug investigation, one animal cruelty, one civil complaint, one funeral escort, two medical/illness, one burglary, two extra patrol, one theft and nine traffic stops.
* July 20 -- Billy R. Schubla, 57, Linton, was arrested at approximately 9:19 p.m. after LPD Cpl. Chad E. Crynes, who was patrolling in the northeast section of town, saw him driving. The officer knew there was a warrant out for him and had dispatch run a records check to confirm the warrant. It was valid, issued on a preliminary charges of four counts of class D felony forgery. In addition, Schubla was wanted on a Writ of Attachment for $1,000 bond. Cpl. Crynes initiated a traffic stop on Schubla's vehicle in the parking lot of Wendy's Restaurant on State Road 54 and NE 4th St. Schubla was taken into custody and transported to the Greene County Jail where he was booked in and was being held in lieu of $17,000 bond. LPD Officer Thomas Jerrels assisted on the scene.
* July 20 -- A resident on NE D Street reported the theft of a purse, taken from a residence then found lying in the yard with about $30 missing. The resident said they heard the front door to the house open around 10:30 a.m. but didn't think anything about it until they noticed the purse was gone. The police report states the door had been left unlocked. LPD Officer Karl Jacobshagen was the investigating officer.
