Ronald Lee Rehmel, 48, of Jasonville, died Saturday afternoon, August 7, 2010 at his residence.
He was born Dec. 27, 1961 in Sullivan to Linus Rehmel and Roberta (Crosby) Rehmel.
Survivors include: son and daughter-in-law, Justin and Nicole Rehmel of Hymera,; granddaughters
Emma Olivia Rehmel; mother, Roberta Rehmel of Jasonville; sisters and brothers-in-law, Jane & Rick Sapp of Homewood, IL, Sharon & Hibbitt Postin of Linton, Jeannie Gray of Coalmont, Pam & Doug Netherlain of Jasonville; brothers & sisters-in-law, David & Tammy Rehmel of Lewis, Dennis & Rita Rehmel of Terre Haute, Don & Jackie Rehmel of Lewis, Kenny & Jamie Rehmel of Coalmont, Randy & Debbie Rehmel of Jasonville, Chris & Linya Rehmel of Jasonville; and many nieces and nephews
He was preceded in death by his dad, Linus Drew Rehmel.
He attended the Coalmont Church of God. He loved his son and grandkids. Ronnie loved baseball and was a standout high school catcher and standout baseball player in the Connie Mack League. He was involved in a serious automobile accident in 2000 and has struggled with health problems since, but is now pain free and rejoicing with his dad. Justin, his son loved him very much.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Cox Funeral Home, 218 South Meridian St, Jasonville. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday with Pastor Bob Dickey, Pastor James Phipps and Pastor Joy Rehmel officiating.
Internment will be at K of P Cemetery in Hymera.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Cox Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
