Nina L. Thompson, 93, passed from this life Aug. 15, 2010.
Nina was the third of four daughters born to Harvey and Leota (Baker) Maners. She was born July 12, 1917 in Greene County.
On Oct. 1, 1938, she married Myers E. Thompson. To this union were born three sons, Richard, Larry and Robert.
Nina was a 1935 graduate of Bloomfield High School, she was a member of the Faith Christian Church. A devoted Christian she will be mourned by many, especially her church family who contributed so much to her welfare and comfort.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters Blanch Edwards and Jean Huffman, her husband Myers and her eldest son Richard.
She is survived by two sons, Larry (Carolyn) Thompson of Noblesville, and Robert (Kathe) Thompson of Princeton. One sister, Wiletta "Billie" Brown of Bloomfield and 10 grandchildren, Janet (Tim) Crowe of Bloomfield, Troy Thompson of Chula Vista, Calif.; Errin (Justin) Carr of Princeton, Bryan Stough of Princeton, Shelly Guzman, Kristy Thompson, Darren Thompson, Holly Stough all of Noblesville, Laura Gunderman of Zionsville and Steve Taylor of Indianapolis; 30 great-grandchildren, one great great grandchild and a host of nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Wednesday, Aug. 18, from 10 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield with the service following at the Faith Christian Church in Bloomfield with Rev Arlen Pope and Rev. Henry Mann Jr. officiating.
Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery in Bloomfield.
