On March 20, 1971, he married Marlene K. (DeHart) Miller of Jasonville and she survives.
Kenneth retired from the U.S. Army as a Sgt. First Class and as a custodian for the Vigo County Library. During his military service, Kenneth received the Bronze Star, Purple Heart and numerous other commendations. He loved spending time outdoors and with his grandchildren fishing, watching Colts football and Pacer basketball, and cooking, especially Sunday dinner.
Survivors include his wife, daughters and sons-in-law Amanda Sevier and Erin of Linton, Melissa Lowe and Tod of Terre Haute, and Malinda Miller and Brock of Lewis; sister, Betty Bridges of Jasonville; grandchildren Jacob Sevier, Grace Lowe, Kenny Lowe, Adeline Miller, Natalie Miller and Miranda Miller; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Ernest Miller; and one sister, Bernice Griffith.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Cox Funeral Home, 218 S. Meridian St. in Jasonville.
Visitation at the funeral home will be Saturday from 5-9:00 p.m. and Sunday from 1 p.m. until the time of service.
A funeral service officiated by Pastor Jason Hill will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Interment with military graveside rites will be at Friendly Grove in Lewis.
