The Linton Police Department's activity log for Thursday included one fight, one drug investigation, one medical/illness, two complaints of harassment, one arrest-wanted on warrant, one community relations, one open garage door and four traffic stops.
* Aug. 19 -- Gary Ray Cross, 24, Linton, was arrested and transported to the Greene County Jail without incident. Cross was wanted on a warrant issued on a petition to revoke probation and was located by officers at his residence where he was taken into custody. LPD Officer Brock Garrison was the arresting officer. Det. Josh Goodman assisted.
* Aug. 19 -- Lyndsey M. Sullivan, 22, Dugger, was at the park when an officer saw her and knew she was wanted on a warrant. The warrant was issued for failure to appear on a charge of driving while suspended. She was taken into custody at approximately 8:18 p.m. and transported to the Greene County Jail. LPD Officer Nick Yingling was the investigating officer. LPD Det. Josh Goodman and Officer Brock Garrison assisted.
* Aug. 19 -- A 17-year-old male juvenile is suspected of attempting to start a fight with another juvenile at the intersection of NE 3rd St. and Vincennes St. at approximately 8:55 p.m. The suspect allegedly chased the other juvenile down as he was running toward home. Information about the incident has been forwarded to the Greene County Probation Department for possible charges of attempted battery and/or intimidation. LPD Cpl. Paul Clark was the investigating officer.
