The Linton Police Department's activity log for Monday included two follow-up investigations, three requests for information only, one incident of vandalism, two medical/illnesses, one animal complaint, one extra patrol, two thefts, two disabled or stranded vehicles, one domestic - neighbor, two community relations, one battery and 19 traffic stops.
* Aug. 23 -- A resident reported an act of criminal mischief/vandalism occurred sometime after midnight when someone let the air out of two tires on a truck and two tires on a van. LPD Officer Karl Jacobshagen was the investigating officer.
* Aug. 23 -- Police are investigating the theft of a donation container that was taken from a counter at a gas station/convenience store by a suspect who was not authorized to take the container. LPD Officer Karl Jacobshagen was the investigating officer.
* Aug. 23 -- Police are investigating a report of intimidation and/or stalking by a Bloomfield man who was allegedly operating a motorcycle and purposely following a woman in her vehicle on Aug. 20 and 21. The same suspect was arrested on Aug. 22 after police responded to a report that he was beating the woman in the yard of a residence. LPD Officer Nick Yingling is the investigating officer.
