She was born Jan. 31, 1942 in Linton, the daughter of Lester and Eunice (Templeton) Bennett.
She retired from Wal-Mart after working there as a sales associate and was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Carlos R. Monier, to whom she was married July 7, 1958, two sons, Ted (Susan) Monier of Linton and Terry Monier of Fort Branch, two daughters, Tina (Jimmy) Reed and Angel (Josh) Overton, both of Linton, her step-mother, Pat Dietz, of Michigan, a brother, Ralph (Irene) Bennett of Linton, two half-brothers, John and Bill Bennett, of Chelsea, Michigan, a half-sister, Jody Bennett, of Chelsea, Michigan, and 10 grandchildren, Henry Monier, Brian (Amanda) Overton, Rick Overton, Gage Monier, Kelsey Overton, Brittany Monier, Monica Burks, Patrick Monier, James Reed, and Kyle Burks.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 30 at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton with the Rev. David Atkins officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Linton.
Visitation will be held from 5-9 p.m. on Sunday, and after 11 a.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
