He was a retired truck driver with Consolidated Freight and a member of the Teamsters Union. He was a member of the Eagles F.O.E. #291 and American Legion Post #0328. He was also a WWII Army veteran.
Kenneth is survived by his daughters, Donna Burns of Boonville, Ind. and Janet Andrews and husband Gaines of Pearland, Tex.; a sister, Betty West of Linton; 12 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; seven sisters, Wanda Wools, Grace Mullins, Pansy Stevenson, Emma McCombs, June West, Joetta Woods and Margaret Hurst; five brothers, Donald Wools, James Wools, Raymond Wools, Cecil Wools and Clarence Wools; three daughters, Barbara Goad, Kathy Blair and Pamela Smith; and a grandson, Christopher Burns.
Visitation will be on Monday, August 30, from 11 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m. at McClanahan-Lee Funeral Home in Jasonville. Rev. Joe Turnbloom will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Linton.
