* Aug. 30 -- Police were called to a disturbance at a residence involving a battery by beer can after two brothers got into an argument over "stupid stuff." The police report states the two were reported to be pushing and fighting and one of them was struck with the can in the area of his left ear and was transported to the hospital for treatment. The other one, an Indianapolis resident, had left the scene and officers were unable to locate. The report states officers determined the two were involved in "mutual combat" and no further action was warranted. LPD Cpl. Chad Crynes was the investigating officer. Officer Thomas Jerrels also responded to assist on the scene.

* Aug. 30 -- A female resident on NE F Street reported an incident of residential entry and criminal mischief after she returned home to find her house had been "destroyed" sometime after 9 p.m. on Aug. 29 and before 7 a.m. on Aug. 30. She said her refrigerator, table and chairs had all been turned over. Food has been thrown on the floor, dolls in her living room had been thrown and some were broken. There were no signs of forced entry but the doors were open and unlocked. She said she didn't believe her ex-husband was involved. LPD Officer Karl Jacobshagen is the investigating officer.
