The Linton Police Department's activity log for Wednesday included four follow-up investigations, one request for information, one juvenile/delinquent, one incident of vandalism, one drug investigation, one property dispute, two accidents with property damage, three mental cases, three medical/illness, one alarm, two animal complaints, one prowler, one VIN check, three suspicious vehicles/persons, one domestic dispute, one open garage door, one ordinance violation and nine traffic stops.
* Sept. 9 -- A resident on Roosevelt Street reported an attempted burglary occurred by someone who tried to enter a back door. The resident has requested the landlord install deadbolt locks. LPD Cpl. Paul Clark was the investigating officer. LPD Cpl. Chad Crynes and Thomas Jerrels also responded to the scene.
