The Linton Police Department's activity log for Thursday included one accident with property damage, four medical/illness, one animal complaint, one prowler, one suspicious vehicle/person, one domestic dispute and 10 traffic stops.
* Sept. 23 -- Casey Burress, 24, Linton, was arrested after an officer observed the vehicle she was driving exit Taco Bell while failing to use headlights when required. The vehicle was stopped at approximately 11:14 p.m. on State Road 54 in front of WalMart where she failed standard field sobriety testing. She was transported to the police department, submitted to a chemical test with the result of .17 BAC. She was then transported and booked in to the Greene County Jail on preliminary charges of three counts of operating a vehicle while intoxicated. LPD Officer Nick Yingling was the investigating officer. LPD Cpl. Paul Clark administered the chemical test.
* Sept. 24 -- Ashley Bedwell, 22, Dugger, was arrested after an officer stopped the vehicle she was driving for a speeding violation at approximately 3:28 a.m. The police report says the vehicle was clocked going 67 mph in a 25 mph zone. Bedwell was given a field sobriety test but failed. The report states "subject blew a 0.17 BAC on the Datamaster." She was transported to the Greene County Jail and booked in on preliminary charges of three counts of operating a vehicle while intoxicated. LPD Officer Brock Garrison was the investigating officer. LPD Officer Nick Yingling and Cpl. Paul Clark also assisted.

* Sept. 19 -- James Leslie Alsman, disregarding stop sign
