Clarence Edward Howell, 79, of Bloomfield, passed away Saturday, Oct. 9, 2010 at Ketchem Memorial Center in Odon.
Clarence was born June 16, 1931 in Camp Taylor, Kentucky the son of Archie and Edna (Hartman) Howell.
He was a truck driver for Mooreman's Feed Company and attended the First Church of God in Linton.
Surviving relatives include his wife Mayme Howell whom he married on September 29, 1951; one daughter, Paula Wilson (Steve) of Bloomfield; two sons, Craig Monroe Howell of Newberry and Clay Edward (Dianna) Howell of Lyons; eight grandchildren, Sysun Nedbalek (Mike) of San Antonia, Tx., Ambur Howell of Bloomfield, Neilly Constable of Bloomfield, Shanna Graves (Kerry) of Switz City, Chris Wilson (Erin), Amanda Helms (Troy), Aaron Wilson and April Jean (Brian) all of Bloomfield. Two great-grandchildren, Abigail Constable and Jack Constable, both of Bloomfield; and several cousins.
Clarence was preceded in death by his parents, seven brother and sisters and one grandson Ryan Howell.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday October 11, 2010 and 10 a.m. until the hour of service on Tuesday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Lyons.
Service will be at 10:30 A.M. on Tuesday October 12, 2010 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Lyons with Pastor John Catcham officiating. Burial will follow at Prairie Chapel Cemetery near Lyons.
