Harold was born July 25, 1931, Worthington to Albert & Kathryn Marie (Stinebaugh) Strickler.
He worked for Wetterau Foods in Bloomington for over 20 years. After retiring from Wetterau he worked for Enterprise Rent-a-Car in Bloomington for 15 years. He was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in Bloomington, Lions Club in Bloomington, and Traveling Turtles Camping Club. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.
Harold is survived by his wife, V. Jean (Crites) Strickler; two children, Kevin Strickler, Bloomington; Karla (Brian) Farnsley, Bloomington; two grandchildren, J. R. (Elise) McIntire, Cody Lee Strickler and Kirbee McIntire; one great-granddaughter, Dahlia; sister, Reba (Vance) York, Westfield.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Jack Strickler.
Memorial service, Welch & Cornett Funeral Home, in Worthington, 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 6, with Dr. Jack Schmit officiating.
The family will be at the funeral home noon Saturday until time of service.
Burial will be in Worthington Cemetery.
