* Oct. 27 -- Michael Deckard, 45, Bloomington, was arrested on preliminary charges of possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia, released on $2,000 bond and scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 1. Greene County Sheriff's Deputy Jeremy Inman was the arresting officer.

* Oct. 27 -- Stacy Haler, 19, Indianapolis, was arrested on preliminary charges of possession of marijuana and possession of methamphetamine and was being held without bond. Greene County Sheriff's Deputy Jeremy Inman was the arresting officer.

LINTON POLICE DEPARTMENT

ACTIVITY LOG

The Linton Police Department's activity log for Tuesday included one assist to the utility department after hours, two drug investigations, one utility repair, one lost and found, two medical/illness, one alarm, one theft, one welfare check/concern, one fingerprint for a gun permit, one domestic dispute, one domestic dispute - neighbor and one traffic stop.

* Oct. 24 -- James Roberts, 19, Jasonville, was arrested at approximately 1:13 a.m. when a police officer, Cpl. Chad Crynes, was on patrol and drove up on a verbal disturbance going on between Roberts and his wife in the area of N. Main St. and NE F St. The officer ran a check on their identification and determined that Roberts was wanted on a warrant out of Sullivan County on a petition to revoke his probation on a conviction of conversion, a class A misdemeanor. Roberts was taken into custody without incident and transported to Sullivan County where his bond was to be set at $3,000. Another male, 16-years-old, was also present and officers believed he was intoxicated. The police report states the juvenile tested at .20 BAC, was transported to the police department and released to a parent but will be referred to the juvenile probation department. LPD Officer Thomas Jerrels also assisted on the scene.

* Oct. 24 -- A drive-off theft of fuel reportedly occurred at the Fast Point gas station on NE A St. at approximately 12:10 p.m. LPD Officer Karl Jacobshagen was the arresting officer.
