Anna C. Goad

Anna C. Goad, 95, of Norman OK passed away Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2010 at her residence.

Born Oct. 9, 1915 in Greene County, she was the daughter of Homer and Alberta (Flake) Abrams.

Anna was a homemaker and a member of the United Pentecostal Church in Norman OK.

Surviving relatives include four sons; Teddy J. Goad of Sylmar, Calif.; Otis C. Goad of Licking, MO; William Edmond Goad of Arlington, TX and Larry B. Goad of Cheraw, SC.; one daughter, Iris Belvadene Buol of Norman, OK; four sisters, Dorothy Newman of Solsberry, Esther Norris, Dona M. Smith and Maxine Todd, all of Bloomfield; 25 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Anna was preceded in death by her husband. Theodore R. Goad in 1977; a son, Homer Lee Goad, a daughter, Carolene Ricondo.four sisters, Grace Carmichael, Jessie Olive Abrams, Laura G. Jones and Myrtle Bland; two brothers, Homer Eugene Abrams and Amos John Abrams; two grandsons, Charles David Palmer and Thomas Lyle Goad; one half-sister, May Horrell and one daughter-in-law, Nancy Goad.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 22 and noon Tuesday until the hour of service at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.

Service will be at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 23 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield. Burial will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery in rural Bloomfield.
