Joe C. Fuller, 92, of Bloomfield, passed away at 2:50 p.m. Saturday, November 20, 2010 at Greene County General Hospital.
Born September 3, 1918 in Newark, he was the son of James W. and Grace (Stanley) Fuller.
He was in machine maintenance for 23 years at NSWC Crane retiring in 1970. He was also a Farmer and attended Walnut Grove Church of God.
Surviving relatives include: his wife, Mary B. (Burcham) Fuller whom he married December 8, 1945; one daughter, Nancy Baxter (Archie) of Martinsville; one son, Wendell Fuller (Darlene) of Bloomfield; one brother, Donald Fuller of Louisville, Kentucky; one sister, Margaret Arthur of Terre Haute; five grandchildren and ten great, grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Harold Fuller, Kenneth Fuller and Paul Stanley, three sisters, Mary Hanson, Betty Harmon and Audrey Fuller and his parents.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield, with Dr. Bobby Doane officiating. Interment will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery where military services will be conducted by Solsberry American Legion Post #450.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday and 1 hour prior to services Wednesday at the funeral home.
The family asks that all memorial contributions be made to Walnut Grove Church of God or Walnut Grove Cemetery.
