The activity log for Friday through Sunday included four requests for information, four assists to the utility department after hours, one incident of vandalism, one sex offense, one transport of documentation, two accidents with personal injury, four accidents with property damage, three medical/illness, two alarms, one animal complaint, one suspicious vehicle/person, one complaint of harassment, one domestic battery, one traffic control, two arrests-wanted on warrants, three domestic disputes, two community relations details and 28 traffic stops.
* Dec. 31 -- No injuries were reported after an accident involving two vehicles in a parking lot on State Road 54 approximately 50 feet north of Eccles Avenue at 6:30 a.m. Friday. Diana J. Johnson, 59, Jasonville, was operating a gray 2005 Chevrolet. Charles D. Kent, 33, Linton, was operating a mauve 1968 Oldsmobile. The accident occurred at the Country Porch Gas Station. Johnson was exiting the lot when Kent was approaching the pumps. Both drivers indicated they did not see the other and they collided. LPD Cpl. Paul Clark was the investigating officer.
