Betty L. Coffin, 84, of Terre Haute passed away Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2011 at 11:40 p.m. in Exceptional Living Center in Brazil.
She was a retired Unit Manager for Reuben H. Donnelley.
Betty was born March 14, 1926 in Riley to Clarence E. Trout and Trellah P. (Jeffres) Trout.
She is survived by two sons: Jeffrey Alan Coffin and his wife Teresa of Bloomfield and Charles R. Coffin, Jr. of Riley; a daughter: Tracey L. Akers and her husband Steve of Brazil; six grandchildren: Michelle L. Feutz, Christina R. Coffin, Stephanie L. Coffin, Lyndsey J. Coffin, Jill A. Coffin, and Charlie Coffin, and two great grandchildren: Kendyl R. Feutz and Joelie A. Feutz.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Charles R. Coffin, Sr., who passed away Aug. 5, 2010, and a sister: Doris Mantsch.
She was a member of the Lawton-Byrum Post 972 VFW Ladies Auxiliary, the Lost Creek Senior Citizens and Thousand Trails.
Visitation will be Friday, Jan. 21, 2011 from 4 until 7 p.m. in Callahan-DeBaun Funeral Home, 2425 Wabash Ave. and again Saturday, Jan. 22 from 2 until 3 p.m.
Funeral service will be Saturday. Jan. 22 at 3 p.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Brent Meyer officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
