Cornelia F. (Sparks) Street, 90, of Indianapolis, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 27, 2011 at Northwest Manor Health Care Center in Indianapolis.
Born Feb. 6, 1920 on Taylor Ridge in Greene County, she was the daughter of William and Lula (Wade) Sparks.
Cornelia was the office manager for Public Service Indiana in the Bloomfield office. She was a member of the Bloomfield United Methodist Church, Board of Directors and President of the Lucille Raines Residence, an outreach program of the United Methodist Women, the Delta Theta Tau, Argonaut Club, NARFE, Mental Health America and Royal Neighbors.
Surviving relatives include her daughter Jamie Street, MD (Richard Butler) of Indianapolis; one grandson Matthew Street Butler of Indianapolis; one granddaughter Jessica Belcher (Mike) of Bloomfield; three great grandchildren Brady, Greyson and Abree; one daughter-in-law Susan Hanauer Street of Bloomfield; three sister-in-laws Pat Yoho of Solsberry, Reba Street of Bloomfield and Edna Sparks of Indianapolis; one brother-in-law Harley Haskett of Switz City.
She was preceded in death by her husband James E. Street on May 9, 1993; one son J.B. Street; three brothers Estel Sparks, Bernard Sparks and Gaylord Sparks; one Martha Lou Hasakett and her parents.
Friends may call from 1:30 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 31, 2011 until the hour of the memorial service at the Bloomfield United Methodist Church.
The memorial service will start at 2:30 at the Bloomfield United Methodist Church with Carolyn Marshall officiating. A reception will follow the memorial service at the church. Burial was at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Bloomfield.
