Raymond C. (Donkey) Flinn, 84, of Odon, died Feb. 9, 2011 at Ketcham Nursing Home in Odon.
He was born Sept. 5, 1926 in Odon, the son of Damon and Elva (Beasley) Flinn. He married Margaret Cannon Flinn June 10, 1944.
He worked at Crane and retired in 1975 and worked for five years at the Edwardsport power plant. Raymond was an avid outdoorsman. He loved to trap and fish. He also loved his family and loved spending time with them.
Survivors include: his wife, Margaret Flinn of Odon; daughters, Barbara Mensch of Bloomfield and Marsha Hoen of Petersburg; sons, John Flinn of Chambersburg, Pa., Mike Flinn of Herrin, Ill., and Jim Flinn of Redmond, Ky.; a brother, Virgil Flinn of Odon; 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Don Flinn; a brother, Cecil Flinn; and a sister, Orvada Lane.
Service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Poindexter Hall McClure Funeral Home in Odon with the Rev. David Wide and Fr. Mike Madden officiating.
Burial will be at Kilgore Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Friday and before the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
