She was born in St. Francisville, Ill., on March 2, 1923, the daughter of Edmond Paul Richardville and Flora Waller Richardville.
Freeda retired from GE, was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church in Linton, and also a member of Pleasantville United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James William Timmerman in 2006; three brothers, Charles, Randolph, and Curtis Richardville; and two sisters, Clara Swope and Dorothy Roettger.
Survivors include: two sons, Louis J. Rausch (Linda) of Charlestown, Ind., Raymond Timmerman (Sharon) of Davison, Mich.; three daughters, Cheryl Galligos (Paul) of Murrayville, Ill., Connie Clark (Dean) of Sullivan, and Carol Stallings (Sonny) of Guston, Ky.; one sister, Madine Relleke of Evansville; two sisters-in-law, Lucille Richardville of Haubstadt, Ind., and Edith Bicknell of Linton, 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 12 at Pleasantville United Methodist Church with Pastor Warren Allen officiating.
Interment will be at Pleasantville Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, and from 9-10 a.m. on Saturday at Newkirk's Funeral Home in Dugger and from 11 a.m. until service time at the church.
