He was born in Dugger on Jan. 3, 1937, the son of Louis Fuzesi and Anna Motto Fuzesi.
He retired from GE, was a member of the American Legion Post #224, St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Jasonville, and Sullivan Co. Shifters Car Club. He was also a streetcar enthusiast.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Elizabeth Smith and Julia Fuzesi.
Survivors include his wife Mary Faidherbe Fuzesi; one son, John Louis Fuzesi Jr. (Tracey) of Sullivan; two daughters, Cecelia Fuzesi of Dugger, and Veronica Clark (John) of Shelburn; three grandchildren, Kierstin Elmore, Connor and Seth Fuzesi; and one great-grandchild, Isabella Elmore.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 16 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Jasonville with Father Frank Renner officiating.
Interment in the Dugger Cemetery.
Friends may call at Newkirk's Funeral Home in Dugger from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m. on Wednesday.
