Teddy E. Flynn, 69, of Bloomfield passed away Thursday Feb. 17, 2011 at Bloomington Hospital.
He was born Dec. 18, 1941 to the late James G. and Doris (Pate) Flynn in Monroe County.
He was the plant Superintendent at the Blucher Poole Waste Water Treatment plant in Bloomington for 43 years. He hired in on Jan. 2, 1968. He was in ROTC in high school.
He is survived by a son, Anthony Eugene Flynn of Bloomfield; his companion and care giver: Phyllis Alltop of Bloomfield; three sisters, Alice and Alfred Wilson of Spencer, Nedra and Steven Case of Bloomington and Carol and Mark Thomas of Brown County; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife: Thelma (Pennington) Flynn.
Friends may call on the family from 2 to 8 p.m. on Monday February 21, 2011 at the Deremiah-Frye Mortuary, Greene & Harrell Chapel in Bloomington.
The service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 22 at the mortuary. Rev. Craig Moore will officiate. Burial will follow at Valhalla Memory Gardens.
