William Willian "Bill" Long, 77, of Dugger, passed away at 12:15AM Saturday February 26, 2011 at Miller's Merry Manor in Sullivan.
He was born in Clay Co., Indiana April 13, 1933 the son, of William Long and Cornelia Willian Long.
William was Army Veteran, retired from Crane Ammo Depot, a member of the Dugger American Legion and the Church of Christ in Dugger.
He was preceded in death by his parents, also his wife, Fonda Patton Long in 2004, two brothers, Charles Long and Paul Long, and one sister, Ruth Wolfe.
Survivors include a niece, Lori Landis (Derick) of Sullivan two brothers, Robert Long of Greenwood, IN., Donald Long (Marge) of Greenfield, IN., one sister, Nora Loudermilk (Dale) of Corey, IN., a sister-in-law Helen Borders of Dugger, and several other nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 1:00PM Tuesday March 1, 2011 at Newkirk's Funeral Home in Dugger with Bro. Nick Moore officiating. Interment in the Dugger Cemetery with Military Graveside Rites by the Dugger American Legion. Friends may call from 11:00AM until services Tuesday.
