Lorraine Vandeventer, 85, of Bloomfield passed away Thursday March 3, 2011 at the Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper, Indiana.
She was born February 19, 1926 in Greene County, Indiana the daughter of Logan and Mary Caroline (Stevens) Fuller.
Lorraine was a homemaker and a member of the Pleasant Ridge Church in Bloomfield.
Surviving relatives include her children; Jerry W. Vandeventer (Anneita) of Bloomfield, Indiana; Judy Correll (Rick) of Odon, Indiana; Jerrill D. Vandeventer (Jill) of Jasper, Indiana; Ron K. Vandeventer (Tami) of Bloomfield, Indiana and Marty D. Vandeventer (Teresea) of Cape Coral, Florida. She has fifteen grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, seven step grandchildren, seven step great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; two sisters, Dorrotha Helms, Elzenia Stalcup and one brother Herbert Fuller all of Bloomfield, Indiana.
Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Lebert Vandeventer on May 7, 2004; one son James L. Vandeventer on November 1, 2001; two brothers Arthur Fuller and Billy Fuller and one sister Kathren Hackworth.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. on Sunday March 6, 2011 and 9 a.m. Monday until the hour of service at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
Services will be at 10 a.m. on Monday March 7, 2011 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Pastor Eugene Helms officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Cemetery in Bloomfield.
In Lieu of Flowers the family wishes donations be made to the American Cancer Society in Lorraine's name.
