LINTON POLICE DEPARTMENT
The Linton Police Department's activity log for Thursday included one incident of trespassing, one fight, one juvenile/delinquent, one death investigation, three medical/illness, one alarm, one complaint about an animal, four complaints of harassment, one traffic control detail, two thefts, one domestic dispute, two ordinance violations and two batteries.
* March 3 -- Police took a report of a theft from the Linton Elementary School. The theft occurred at an unknown time. The police report stated the nurse keeps syringes in a box to the right of her desk and the last time anyone saw the syringes was approximately two weeks before the report was made. Twenty insulin syringes worth $52 are missing. LPD Officer Nick Yingling was the investigating officer.
* March 3 -- An incident of battery allegedly occurred in the parking lot when a couple left WalMart and were followed by a female who pushed the woman who was pregnant. Video surveillance tapes from WalMart are being reviewed. LPD Officer Debbie McDonald is the investigating officer.
