Bill was a 1962 graduate of Linton-Stockton High School, a 1964 graduate of Vincennes University, and a 1966 graduate in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University.
He began at Crane in 1966 and retired in 2006, then worked there until the present as a contractor/consultant.
He was a member of the Bicknell First Baptist Church, the Sons of the American Legion, and the Moose Lodge.
He is survived by his mother, Jeanette Weaver of Linton, a son, Bryan (Kristi) Weaver of Chicago, Ill., two daughters, Kristina Massaro (Jeff Tucker) of Marshall and Mackenzie Weaver of Bloomington, two sisters, Carolyn Hay and Sue Weaver, both of Linton, and two granddaughters, Brittany Hogg and Aileese Massaro. His third grandchild is due in August.
He was preceded in death by his father and a stillborn brother, Stephen Reid Weaver.
Funeral service will be held at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 19, 2011, Pastor Seth Alexander officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Linton.
Visitation will be held on Friday from 5-8 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
