* March 21 -- Police responded to an accident involving two vehicles at 1:21 p.m. on State Road 54 East at the entrance/exit to CVS Pharmacy. One vehicle was eastbound on the highway and had a red light at the intersection and a second vehicle was pulling out northbound from the CVS lot and was going to turn east onto the highway. The second vehicle had a green light and the right-of-way. As the second vehicle pulled into the intersection, the first vehicle reportedly ran the red light and hit the other vehicle. Three witnesses at the scene told police they saw the vehicle run the red light. One passenger in the second vehicle reported mouth and nose pain but refused medical treatment. Another reported rib pain but also refused treatment. No other injuries were reported.
* March 22 -- A resident on E. Vincennes Street reported the theft of a boys 24-inch Mongoose seven-speed bicycle. It was black and yellow and in near-new condition. It was believed to have been taken sometime between 7:30-11:30 a.m. from a front yard. LPD Officer Karl Jacobshagen is the investigating officer.
* March 22 -- A resident who owns and old abandoned run-down house located near NW 4th and G streets reported acts of criminal mischief/vandalism to the property have been occurring at various times. The owner alleged some neighborhood kids had been tearing down some wood and various other parts of the structure. The report states the owner said the place is unsafe and they don't want anyone hurt. LPD Officer Karl Jacobshagen is the investigating officer.
* March 22 -- A resident on NE 6th Street reported an act of criminal mischief/vandalism occurred sometime overnight to their residence, an SUV and a truck. The police report states the man reported eggs were thrown on both vehicles and some were also thrown at the residence but no other damage was noted. LPD Officer Karl Jacobshagen is the investigating officer.
