Ada Naomi Argabright, 93, of Linton, passed away at 5 p.m. Tuesday, March 29, 2011, at I.U. Health Bloomington Hospital.
She was born March 10, 1918, in Solsberry, the daughter of John Stewart & Rose (Wells) McDaniel.
She worked at G.C. Murphy in Linton for 40 years, retiring around 1980. She was a member of the Linton First Baptist Church and the Bykota Sunday School Class and Mubeta Gamma Mission Circle there.
Survivors include two step-sons, Roy (Jo) Argabright of Oceanside, Calif. and Carl A. (Chong Cha) Argabright of Fairview Heights, Ill.; a sister, Norma Purcell of Bloomfield; five step-grandchildren, Steve, Randy, Cindi, Susan and Sandra and 11 step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Mack Wiggs; her second husband, Jess Argabright; two sisters, Donna Hall and Ruby Bixler; two brothers, Paul and William McDaniel.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, April 1, at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton with Revs. David Tyra and Kenneth Adams officiating.
Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday and at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
