Thank you for helping choirs

To the Editor:

I would like to thank all the sponsors and donors of the Variety Show, Spaghetti Dinner and Auction on behalf of the Linton-Stockton Junior High and High School Choirs. The event was held on Friday, April 1.

Without the help and donations by these wonderful people and businesses, our event would not have happened.

Save-A-Lot

Thank you to Carol Byers for cooking the spaghetti and making sure we had a meal to serve.

Thank you to McKim Auction service for donating your time. We really appreciate it!

A big thank you to Kim Leigh for all her hard work securing the donations for the dinner and auction. Without your dedication and drive, this event might not have happened, let alone been as successful as it was.

Thank you to the parents of the students for all your support and dedication to the education of your student. An education in the arts is a benefit to all!

County event was

a big success

To the Editor:

We'd like to sincerely thank the following people and organizations for their assistance with Operation Medicine Cabinet (OMC) on April 2.

Bridget Blanton provided food for the volunteers at Wright Township. Ms. Blanton (Wright Township), Bryan Woodall (Grant Township), and Jeremy Inman (Center Township) all supported this effort and provided space at the respective township fire departments for OMC collection sites.

The sheriff's department provided an on-duty officer for each site: Ed Michaels, Greg Flynn, and Jeff Payton. Thank you to each of these for helping to ensure safety and proper chain of command.

The greatest group of all were the volunteers who gave of their time and talent on that day. Those were: Vicki and Bob Wolford, Tammy Dawson, Emily Favor, Josh Milligan, Rebecca Yingling, and Casey Moore. Thank each of you for all your assistance in helping to make the collection a great success.
