She was born Nov. 14, 1939 in Sullivan County to Thomas Treadway and Edna Ethel (Treadway) Treadway.
Alice married Richard Kennedy Harrison on Nov. 2, 1963 and he passed away on July 24, 2005.
Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Tamie and Mike Duncan of Jasonville and Marjorie and Darrell DeHart of Paris, IL; grandchildren, Kathleen and Ethan Ludwig, Wesley Marshall, Joey Revell and Allison Jordan; step-grandchildren, Brandon Duncan and Kyle Duncan; two great-grandchildren; brothers and sister-in-law, Tom and Donna Treadway of Brazil, Larry Treadway of KY, Jim Treadway of TX, Ralph Treadway of NC and Bob Evitts of TX; sister, Nancy Hill of TX; and all other special extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; baby daughter, Kathy Lee Harrison; brother, Donny Treadway.
Alice had served as Precinct #1 Committeeman for about 30 years, had waitressed at Cliff and Goldy's Tavern and was a housekeeper at Shakamak Good Samaritan Nursing Center for 5 years. She was a member of the Jasonville Assembly of God Church where she was a Nursery Sunday School Teacher. She loved to play bingo, go fishing, and enjoyed spending time on the river. She was an avid softball and baseball fan of her grandchildren.
Arrangements are entrusted to Cox Funeral Home, 218 South Meridian Street in Jasonville.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m. until service time Thursday at the Funeral Home.
Funeral service is at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Pastor Sam Bush officiating.
Interment will be at Lebanon Cemetery in Midland.
