Preparing the field for planting

Indiana is in the middle of one of the wettest spring seasons ever, and the forecast for the rest of the month is for above normal moisture. As a result, planting is more than two weeks behind the average pace. However, on Thursday evening this Greene County farmer near the Mt. Nebo Church, between Newberry and Scotland, was busy preparing his field for planting -- provided the area stays dry. Unfortunately, dry weather is not in the weekend weather forecast.
