She was born in Indianapolis on June 27, 1948, to Wesley O. and Anna V. (Conrad) Strahle.
Nancy was a graduate of Linton-Stockton High School class of 1966. She worked at the Purdue Extension Service office of Daviess County for 37 years. She attended St. John's Catholic Church and Morgantown First Christian Church, was a member of the Lawrenceville Moose Lodge, and active in the A.C.S. Relay for Life, the Susan G. Komen Cancer Foundation, and Daviess County 4-H. Her hobbies and interests included gardening, sewing, cooking, dancing, antique collecting and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her companion and soul mate Jim Westfall; two sons, Devin (Diana) Britton of Boonville, IN and Jeremy (Marci) Remmel of Mississippi; four grandchildren; five sisters: Susan (Tim) Thomas of Covington, Cindy Virden, of Indianapolis, Dena (Kevin) Stropes of Morgantown, Tina Burdine of Indianapolis, and Sharon Griner of Indianapolis; and one brother Donnie Burdine of Indianapolis. Nancy is also survived by several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, several cousins, and an aunt, Rosemary Pierce of Abiline, TX, and an uncle, James Strahle of Linton.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents and one sister Anita Jo Cline.
Memorial contributions may be made to A.C.S. Relay for Life of Knox County or The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation in Nancy's name.

Funeral services will be on Wednesday, June 1 at the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel at 1 p.m. with Burt Brock officiating. Interment will follow at the Clayton Cemetery in Linton.
