She was born in Linton on Nov. 22, 1919, the daughter of Alvin and Reva (Taylor) Boriff. Ruby formerly worked at Murphy's in Linton, working in house cleaning, and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Lebanon Baptist Church in Midland.
Survivors include a son, Herbert R. (Jacqueline) Stough of Linton; two granddaughters, Crystal Taylor of Indianapolis and Cynthia Ann Staley of Bicknell; four great-grandchildren, Zoey, Zach, Brian, and Jennifer; five great-great grandchildren, Piper, Raven, Jesse, Liz, and Miranda; and one great-great-great grandchild, Sophia.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Roy Stough, Theran Manners, and Herman Hall; a brother, Harley R. Boriff;and a grandson, Brian Stough.
Funeral service will be at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 16 with Dr. Brad Darr officiating. Burial will follow at Switz City Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5-8 p.m., and Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
