DEPARTMENT ACTIVITY LOG
The Linton Police Department activity log for June 27 included: One vandalism case, four property damage traffic accidents, one mental case, one animal complaint, one harassment complaint, one theft case, two fireworks complaints, one vehicle theft, four domestic disputes, one battery case, one ordinance warning, and one traffic stop.
* May 27 -- The LPD investigated one leaving the scene of an accident case. The reporting party had a 2000 Ford Mustang parked facing west in the Taco Bell parking lot. A witness saw a green Pontiac Grand Prix back into the vehicle and then left the scene. The driver of the fleeing vehicle was described as a white male, wearing camo clothing. He was last seen westbound on State Road 54. Damage to the vehicle was termed as minor.
SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT JAIL LOG
* June 28 -- Michael G. Pitcher, 37, Bloomfield, was arrested by the Bloomfield Police Department on a warrant for theft. He was released after posting $4,000 bond. Court date is set for 1 p.m. on July 11.
* June 27 -- Joseph F. Ball, 31, Linton, was arrested by the Linton Police Department on a preliminary charge of public intoxication. Bond was set at $500.
* June 27 -- Davia Lemasters-Pabey, 21, of Route 2, Jasonville, was arrested by the Jasonville Police Department on a criminal mischief warrant. She was released after posting $5,000 bond. Court date set for 1 p.m. on July 11.
