Norma Dale Wells Nash, 92, of Indianapolis and formerly of Farmersburg, passed away at 4:05 p.m. Wednesday July 6, 2011, at Sugar Creek Nursing and Rehab in Greenfield, Ind.

She was born in Hymera, Sept. 26, 1918, the daughter of Lewis Wells and Lizzie Plew Wells.

Norma graduated from Hymera High School, worked several years for White Swan, and Hamilton's Restaurant in Farmersburg, Ind., was a longtime member of the First Christian Church in Sullivan, also the Missionary Unit 6, and attended Heather Hills Baptist Church in Indianapolis.

Norma was a fine lady and loved by all who knew her. She was a very dear mother and we will all miss her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, also her husband, Kenneth Joseph Nash in 1988, a daughter, Penny Kristler, an infant daughter, Janet Marie Nash, and a grandson, Kevin Nash.

Survivors include two sons, Kenneth Ray Nash (Barbara) of Hymera, Billy Lee Nash (Alice) of Linton, one daughter, Betty Jo Wilson of Indianapolis, two brothers, Lee Wells (Margie) of Terre Haute, Lewis Wells (Margaret) of Hymera, a son in-law John Kristler, 4 grandchildren, Doug, Mike, Lorie, and Briana, 7 great grandchildren, Kyle, Matt, Kristin, Kelsey, Courty, Mara, Kiva, and 1 great great grandchild, Elijah.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday July 9, 2011 at Banks and Brust Funeral Home 400 N. Court St. Sullivan, with Rev. Dale Wise officiating. Interment will be in the Westlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 9 a.m. until services Saturday.
