The Linton Police Activity Log for July 12 included: One forgery case, one breaking and entering case, three animal complaints, two harassment complaints, one theft case, one ordinance violation and one traffic stop.
* July 12 -- The office of Paul D. Esguerra, MD reported to the LPD that a 28-year-old rural Linton woman had allegedly taken some doctor's/patient sheets from the office and faxed them to a Monroe City pharmacy. The doctor's signature was allegedly forged to get a prescription of percocet. The case remains under investigation.
* July 12 -- A Jasonville woman told police that a solar butterfly light was taken off the grave of her daughter at Fairview Cemetery.

* July 12 -- Allen L. Fowler, 59, Route 6, Bloomfield, arrested by Indiana State Police on preliminary charges of driving while suspended with a prior conviction, possession of a knife with a propelled blade. Bond set at $1,500.
* July 12 -- Timerie B. Rose, 26, Linton was arrested by the Linton Police Department on a preliminary charge of disorderly conduct. Bond set at $500.
