LINTON POLICE DEPARTMENT ACTIVITY REPORT
The Linton Police log for July 26 included: One vandalism case, one property damage traffic accident, one animal complaint, one prowler complaint, one harassment complaint, one domestic dispute and four traffic stops.
* July 27 -- A Linton woman reported spray paint had been applied to her son's car when it was parked near her residence on 9th Street NW.
* July 27 -- An employee of downtown business on South Main Street reported that someone backed into his car and did not stop. A witness observed the incident and told police what happened. Officer Nick Yingling located the suspect and did an exchange of insurance information between the two parties.
