Gerald Thomas Noble, 56

June 27, 1956-July 22, 2011

With great regret and sadness we announce the loss of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and cousin.

Gerald "Jerry" Thomas Noble, 56, passed away July 22, 2011 in Elkhart, TX.

He resided with his wife, Helen Lurene (Phillips) Noble, of 17 years, in Tennessee Colony, TX.

Jerry was born June 27, 1956 to Rosalia "Rose" Delores (Tilka) Noble and Charles Veryl Noble in Joliet, Ill.

He was raised by his mother, Rose, in Whiting, IN, then relocated to Texas.

Jerry was a big man standing 6-4 with a heart just as big as he was tall.

Jerry loved his family having immense love for his mother, wife and children.

He enjoyed anything mechanical, especially trucks and cars.

His life's work was as a millwright/certified mechanic.

Candius, his daughter, serves in the U.S. Navy; Jay, his son, serves in the U.S. Army.

He is survived by his wife, Helen (Phillips) Noble, Elkhart, TX; daughter, Wanona Candius (Noble) Abuan, Navy in Japan; son, Gerald "Jay" Thomas Noble II, Army, Hammond; daughter, Melissa Jody (Noble) Wartman, Whiting; grandchildren, Taryn, Kaitlyn, Ashley, Casey, Miranda, Dominic and Gabriel; brothers, Charles "John" Noble, Bloomfield, Anthony "Jay" Noble, Newberry, Jeffrey Noble, Mesquite, TX, Gregory Noble, Wilmington,Ill.; sisters, Rose Foster-Morris, Cheryl Warren, Candius Oaks, Bloomfield, Lisa Cascello, Dewight, Ill; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Jerry was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Rose D. Noble 1992; brother, Charles Beryl Noble, Jr.; sister, Kathleen Joyce Sturgill; nephew, Anthony John Noble, Jr. 1999.

A memorial service will be at American Legion Post No. 196, 125 S. Washington, Bloomfield, Saturday, Aug. 20 at 5 p.m.
