Anita Collenbaugh, 70, of Worthington, passed away 2:35 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2011, at Glenburn Home in Linton.

Anita was born Feb. 15, 1941 in Brazil to Harvey and Freida (Jackson) Steuerwald.

She was a homemaker, and member of New Hope Baptist Church, Clay City. She was a graduate of Clay City High School and Porter Business College. She and her husband loved attending antique tractor shows and tractor pulling contest around the country. Her hobbies were sewing, NASCAR and baking Christmas cookies and making candy.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Don R. Collenbaugh, Worthington; two brothers, Fred (Janice) Steuerwald, Clay City and Victor (Janice) Steuerwald, Terre Haute; four sister-in-laws, Marjorie Zurcher, Clay City, Joan (Glendon) Yegerlehner, Sue (Don) Borders, Dorcus Steuerwald, Titusville, FA; also several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral service will be at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home, Worthington at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 10 with the Rev. Brian Holt officiating.

Friends may call at Welch & Cornett from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, and 10 a.m. on Saturday until the time of service.

Burial will be Pleasant Bethel Cemetery at Arney.

Memorials may be given to American Cancer Society or New Hope Baptist Church at the funeral home.
