The Linton Police Department log for Sept. 6 included: One illegal burn, one fight, one vandalism case, one animal cruelty case, one accident involving personal injury, one accident involving property damage, one medical/illness, one suspicious vehicle/person, one assistance to another agency, one lost/stolen license plate, one fingerprint for a gun permit, one domestic dispute, one open door/garage complaint, one batter case and two traffic stops.
* Sept. 6 -- Linton Police Department officer Chad Crynes initiated a traffic stop on Melissa J. Hasler, 30, of Elnora, after observing her traveling north on Park Road. A license check showed her driving status was Driving While Suspended with a prior conviction, a Class A misdemeanor. Hasler was issued an Information and Summons to appear in court then released.

* Sept. 6 -- Kristopher L. Eberhardt, 25, Dugger, was arrested by the Jasonville Police Department on a preliminary charge of fleeing in a vehicle. Released from jail after posting $4,000 bond. Court date set for 1 p.m. on Sept. 12.
