LINTON POLICE DEPARTMENT
The Linton Police Department log for Sept. 19 included: One animal cruelty case, one public intoxication, two animal complaints, one harassment complaint, one theft case, one domestic dispute and six traffic stops.
* Sept. 19 -- A 3rd Street SE resident reported that $361 was missing from her purse. The alleged theft took place between 12:30 p.m. and 2:10 p.m. The money was allegedly taken from the purse in the resident's bedroom or at the doctor's office. She told police the money was going to be used to pay an utility bill.

* Sept. 20 -- Roger A. Burris, 21, of Route 2, Jasonville, was arrested by the Linton City Police Department on a preliminary charge of manufacturing methamphetmine. No bond set pending a court appearance.
* Sept. 19 -- Amy L. (Forker) Collins, 39, of Jasonville, was arrested by the Greene County Sheriff's Department on a warrant to revoke a suspended sentence on a drug dealing conviction. No bond set pending a court appearance.
* Sept. 19 -- Donald D. Stelzel, 30, of Bloomington, was arrested by the Greene County Sheriff's Department on a warrant to revoke a suspended sentence for a criminal mischief conviction. Released from jail after posting $5,000 bond. Court date set for 1 p.m. on Sept. 26.
