Linton Police Department
The Linton Police Department log for Sept. 27 included: Two utility after-hours reports, one protective order violation, one public intoxication, two property damage traffic accidents, one funeral escort, one harassment complaint, one theft, one ordinance violation, one truancy complaint and two traffic stops.
* Sept. 28 -- Joshua A. Chesterfield, 29, of Linton, fell into a parked car on his bicycle at around 12:01 a.m. A woman told police Chesterfield had been trying to enter parked cars. Chesterfield was determined intoxicated after failing all field sobriety tests. He was transported to the Greene County Sheriff's Department for public intoxication and held on $500 bond. LPD Officer Chad Crynes was assisted by LPD Officer Thomas Jerrels.

* Sept. 28 -- Joshua Chesterfield, 29, of Linton, was arrested by the Linton Police Department on a preliminary charge of public intoxication. Bond set at $500.
* Sept. 27 -- Jason Burns, 31, of Dugger was arrested by the Greene County Sheriff's Department on warrant for a petition to revoke a suspended sentence. No bond set.
